Tertio Millennio Seminar Launches on eResources CMS

November 3, 2003

WASHINGTON, DC – The Tertio Millennio Seminar on the Free Society today announced the launch of their new web site.  The site was created and designed using the eResources Content Management System (eRCMS).

eResources CEO Dusty Gulleson said of the project, “We were honored to be selected by such a prestigious program.  Our creative staff worked hard to design a fresh, sharp look for this web system to reflect their sterling reputation.  The Tertio Millennio Seminar staff can now utilize the tools of our CMS to attract new students and keep alumni and faculty engaged.  The technology behind eResources’ web sites provides the flexibility and scalability to manage future growth and lower costs.”

Carrie Gress, Manager of the Catholic Studies Program added, “The staff at eResources made creating a web site almost effortless.  They anticipated my needs, filled manifold requests particular to my project and worked within my schedule.  They have made what I thought would be a difficult and drawn out project, simple and smooth.”

Prospective students now have easy access to a wealth of information, including program history, application information and deadlines, tuition costs, faculty bios, and seminar highlights.  The Tertio web site also includes a unique, interactive photo album.  These galleries feature the distinguished faculty of the seminar, as well as many past participants.  Users can also view pictures of the historic venues that students visit, including the shrine of Saint Faustina Kowalska and the Wawel Cathedral and Castle.

With program administrators and faculty working everywhere from Washington, DC to Kraków, Poland, the Tertio Millennio Seminar required a solution to allow for web site updates from diverse worldwide locations.  The eResources Content Management System, which offers a thin-client solution, was a perfect fit.  With no software required, Tertio staff can access the administrative environment from any Internet connection.  This secure login allows them to quickly post fresh content and keep the site dynamic.

Another key feature of the Tertio site is the Alumni section, which allows past participants to log in and receive special updates.  This section provides alumni and faculty with news updates about the program and relevant current events.  Alumni may also create a profile with the year they attended, their email address, and current location.
