WASHINGTON, DC – The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) launched its new online internship application at www.csisopportunities.com. The site is powered by eResources innovative Online Application Management System (OAMS). The OAMS allows students to quickly submit applications for CSIS’s prominent internship programs. Applicants are first required to create a user profile, registering their contact information in CSIS’s online database. The students are then guided through the online internships process, entering all of the required information into the system. This paperless system allows users to upload transcripts, cover letters, writing samples and resumes as electronic files. Students can also enter the email address for their references, who may submit recommendations through a custom Reference Extranet. Students are provided with a number of automated email communications, keep them updated on the status of their application and warning them about impending deadlines. Using eResources CMS platform, CSIS staff can update content on their site and administer all facets of their internship process. This system will dramatically improve organizational efficiency, cut staff work time and printing costs. CSIS may access their internship manager through a secure, browser-based interface. This allows the staff to view all applicant profiles, view full application, and manage internship sessions. In addition, CSIS can track their web statistics and create customized reports using web analytics tools. To schedule a meeting or receive information about eResources products and services, please call (202) 216-0124 or e-mail at info@eresources.com.
