WASHINGTON, DC – eResources recently launched the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy at www.jospt.org. In addition to utilizing eResources Content Management System, the site includes a number of modules designed for online journal publishing. The custom Subscription Manager allows users to subscribe to the physical publication as well as receive specific permissions to online content. JOSPT administrators have the ability to create new subscription types, as well as set specific costs for different types of users. eResources also developed an Institutional IP Range feature for JOSPT’s members. This allows different institutions or organizations to login to jospt.org using individual IP’s or IP ranges, providing easy access for multiple accounts.
The eResources project team also created a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) module. This test taking feature allows administrators to create exams on the fly, with different types of questions with point values assigned to each questions. Through the CMS, JOSPT can set a time limit for the exam, create an answer key, determine the passing score, and allow users to retake the test if they initially fail. Users can view test history in My JOSPT and print out custom certificates for tests they have passed.
