WASHINGTON, DC – The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) recently launched the redesigned BestSemester.com. The web site is CCCU’s online portal for off-campus study programs. CCCU wanted to give the site a fresh appearance while enhancing its functionality. The redesign was also necessary to coordinate the web site’s look and feel with Best Semester’s current promotional materials. Kimberly Spragg, Director of Student Programs, said, “We’re very proud of the new site. The sharp design, improved navigation, and advanced features will enhance each user’s online experience.” eResources CEO Dusty Gulleson echoed those sentiments, “The hard work and commitment of CCCU’s team has turned BestSemester.com into a great resource. We’ve truly enjoyed helping CCCU meet the needs of its students and faculty around the world.” The homepage now includes a convenient login feature. Students can directly go to the online application or fill out a registration form to enter to the system. Visitors can also access printer-friendly pages or electronically forward information by utilizing the “Print” and “Email” icons. The new site also has an upgraded Faculty page, an important source of news, updates, and information for administrators. The section includes a Student Programs Calendar, course descriptions, and contact information for each program, and a ‘Commonly Asked Questions’ feature. In addition, two programs sites were integrated during the redesign. The Los Angeles Film Studies Center and the Contemporary Music Center, which previously maintained independent sites, are now housed in BestSemester.com.
