WASHINGTON, DC - The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) recently launched the redesigned ChristianCollegeSearch.com. Utilizing the eResources Content Management System, the new web site provides crucial assistance at the beginning of the college search process. Dusty Gulleson, CEO of eResources, noted, "The redesigned ChristianCollegeSearch.com is an example of the flexible nature of the eResources Content Management System. We added a custom search engine and question database to our existing CMS software." The new site is fully managed online through a web browser using eResources CMS software. eResources adds this site to the two other web systems completed for CCCU, CCCU.org and BestSemester.com. Gulleson, commenting on the relationship with CCCU, said, "I couldn't be more pleased with our close relationship. Our partnership has grown over the last three years and we look forward to seeing CCCU becoming the premier resource for Christian higher education on the web." The new site targets both parents and students searching for information about Christian institutions. Using a Q&A format similar to 'Ask Jeeves', users may submit inquiries on a wide range of issues. Answers are provided by volunteers from participating CCCU campuses. The information is also available in an easy-to-use FAQ format. Users have the option of submitting their question for use in the site's ever-growing database of knowledge. The topics are broken down into four primary areas: admissions, academics, campus life, and financial aid. Students and parents can quickly access a wealth of information on subjects like the application process, choosing a curriculum, internships, scholarships, student loans, and campus diversity. Users can also find a list of CCCU member and affiliate schools. Christian College Search is a critical component in CCCU's "Making the Case" campaign. The web site works in conjunction with ChristianCollegeMentor.com, which provides specific information about Christian institutions and allows students to apply online. Both programs employ new technologies to prepare students for the college
