eResources is pleased to announce its selection by Virginia’s Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) as an Entrepreneurship Opportunity Fund grantee. The award, designed to recognize emergent technology companies with strong growth potential, provides award recipients with assistance in management areas such as securing financial or legal services as the companies grow. eResources was nominated for the award by Techventure Partnership, a program of Mason Enterprise Center at George Mason University. “eResources had a many of the qualities we look for making these awards,” said Mary Walsh, a Business Mentor at Techventure. “But what set eResources apart was the outstanding work they’ve done over there with their [eResources] Content Management System. They have a significant innovation, and their management has the expertise to take advantage of their innovation in the marketplace.” eResources has collaborated with a number of businesses, non-profit organizations, and associations--including the Ethics and Public Policy Center, The Council of Christian Colleges and Universities, Discovery Creek Children’s Museum, and e-contech--to develop practical, cost-effective solutions to streamline clients management. The grant associated with the award will ease eResources’ transition from a small startup technology firm to a maturing medium-sized firm. “From an entrepreneurial standpoint, managing growth is always a challenge, regardless of the business climate,” remarked eResources President Dusty Gulleson. “We’re thrilled that CIT and TechVenture chose to recognize eResources. Their support will help our company secure the services it needs to move into the next phase of its growth.” About Techventure Partnership Located at George Mason University’s main campus in Fairfax, Virginia, Techventure Partnership is a program of the Mason Enterprise Center.
