WASHINGTON, DC - eResources is proud to announce the launch of BestSemester.com, a database driven website featuring the student programs of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). BestSemester.com provides students attending CCCU member colleges with ten rich off-campus programs. These semester-long study programs include programs in China, Latin America, Hollywood, Costa Rica and Moscow.
Since each of these ten study programs have been, and will continue to be administered independently of one another, the challenge was to present them in a way that maintained their independence, yet showed how they are all connected to CCCU. eResources was able to accomplish this by creating BestSemester.com, which serves as a portal to the various study programs of the CCCU and allows 10 distinct sites to exist on their own, bound together with a common branding, theme and interface.
The power behind the BestSemester.com site is eResources' custom designed Content Management Solution (CMS). The CMS is a web-based application that gives organizations the freedom to update text and images on their website or intranet system from anywhere in the world where there is access to the internet. This application was designed and developed by eResources to meet the needs of clients who desired a solution that would streamline their content management, eliminating the need for coordination with webmasters or third-party hosting services.
