WASHINGTON, DC - The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) recently introduced its newest web site, TAEMag.com. The site is the online home for AEI’s monthly publication, The American Enterprise. TAE magazine provides analysis and commentary on national and world issues, including economic conditions, foreign affairs, and social trends. TAEMag.org was created using eResources Content Management System (eRCMS). The site is fully integrated with AEI’s main web site, AEI.org, which was also built with the eRCMS. Content can be tagged for publishing on either web site, and TAEMag.com will filter all content specifically designated for the magazine side. eResources CEO Dusty Gulleson added, "This functionality will lower the ownership cost for both sites, decrease the labor cost in managing them, and more efficiently deliver content to targeted audiences." The TAE site includes a number of new eResources features, including delayed publishing ability. TAE staff can specify which articles from the current issue are available to visitors. Media, advertisers, and subscribers can view the entire issue by logging in and utilizing the ‘Press Pass’ feature. The new TAEMag.org contains a complete historical archive of back issues. Subscribers can perform advanced searches in the database to locate articles on certain issues or commentary by a particular scholar. Registered users can also have updates emailed to them using their ‘My AEI’ profile. Each page also contains a ‘Print This’ and ‘Email This’ option. Users now have the ability to subscribe online through the eResources eCommerce Storefront and Shopping Cart. The eCommerce module also allows users to purchase back issues of TAE magazine. The new web site provides TAE the ability to automate promotional offers online. Potential advertisers can also learn about production requirements, submission dates, and rates. The information is available for download in the TAE media kit. The site ncludes a Frequent Asked Question section (FAQ), which provides users with answers to common questions about TAE. Visitors to the site can also find information about submitting articles for publication, applying for internships, and sending Letters to the Editor.
